NEW FROM NO7! The Lift & Luminate Triple Action Range

Ever since I got to the age when I started discovering make-up and the world of beauty, I've grown up with Boots No7 skin care. My Mum was completely obsessed with it and used the infamous Protect & Perfect range from the brand religiously up until about a year or so ago when she branched out and started dabbling in other names. Growing up with this No7 influence, I first used (and still use) their Essential Moisture day and night creams for whenever my skin needed a hit of hydration and completed adored it. No7 have built their reputation around offering the cutting edge of skin care technology for half the price you would get elsewhere, and that is exactly why many of their products have become staples in beauty routines everywhere. Their Lift & Luminate Triple Action serum is one of these; what's even better is that the best-selling formula has now been extended into the full range which launched 18th January. Previously just Lift & Luminate, meet the revamped Lift & Luminate Triple Action range.

Skincare That Makes A Difference: Naobay's Natural & Organic Products

Greetings again, everybody. Apologies for my brief blogging absence; dissertations and exams are so inconvenient, eh? Today I'm back with a good ol' skincare review for you all. Naobay is a brand that I have been familiar with for a while (having tried their toner in the past) and one that I wanted to introduce to you. An acronym for 'Natural and Organic, Beauty and You', this brand focuses on ingredients which are in no way harmful to you or the environment. Strong ethical commitments within the beauty industry regarding organic ingredients, animal testing and environment protection are an incredible and increasingly recognised stand, but the products still have to live up to a great quality too. Having been trying their calming toner, milk cleanser and oxygenating moisturising cream for the past month or so, I can confirm that these products are not only great for those who look out for 'certified' products, but are well worth trying out if you're a beauty lover in general.

OnZen's Innovative Bath Tablets: A Hot Spring In Your Own Home?

The busier our lives seem to get, the more important it is to take time to look after ourselves. I've recently posted about a few beauty products you can pop in your bath to make it even more relaxing; these oils and scents are lovely, but it's equally important to reap the physical benefits of a bath for your skin, and not just focus on the mental element of relaxation. These innovative tablets from OnZen help do just that, and remind us to look after our skin whilst doing all the hard work for us. We're so used to running a bath and adding in our favourite bubble baths, bath bombs or essential oils (focusing on the relaxing element of a long soak). OnZen looks at the water itself, rather than what you can add to it. They have created products which alter the water you are bathing in to make it more beneficial to your skin and circulation. Genius!

Help:Clear Skin...An Easy Boost To A Brighter Complexion?

Firstly, happy new year to you all! Apologies for my absence, I am currently drowning in exams an am too busy swotting up on law to write regular posts (BOOOOO!). We are three weeks into 2016, and by now, most of you will have made your new year's resolutions and are on your way to acing them. One of my 2016 promises to myself was to take better care of my skin. As you may have read before on this site, I can suffer from really bad dry skin flare-ups, caused by anything from stress to a change in the weather. As such, I have decided to be proactive rather than reactive to my skin problems, and am trying to take simple steps in order to get my skin looking glowing and healthy once again. I am only 21, so I don't really want to be having to use a gazillion thick creams on my 'young' skin, so employing tactics such as changing my diet, drinking more water and taking some time out here and there to manage my stress-levels is going to be my alternative. With exams in full swing, despite my efforts I have had outbreaks of dryness and spots (which I rarely get), so I'm bringing in a new friend to help give my skin that little boost it desperately needs at the moment....Help: Clear Skin.

Merumaya: The Skincare Trio That's Upped My Face Game

If you've read any of my previous skincare posts, you'll find that my face is very temperamental. Any slight change in stress levels or weather and my skin flares up with dryness, making me look like a flaky, scaly lizard-girl. No matter how much I moisturise, exfoliate and prime, my make-up just never sits right, and you can still see the dryness seeping through from underneath. As we're heading into colder months now, I thought I would change up my skincare routine in an attempt to get one step ahead of the dryness. This Merumaya trio have been perfect in taming my dry skin so far, and the combination of cleansing balm, serum and moisturiser have just been dreamy to use.

A SUMMER MUST-HAVE! Why Face Mists Are A Handbag Essential This Season

They sound quite pretentious, but face mists and spritzes are something that I've been using more and more as the weather starts to perk up a bit. Not only are they perfect for popping in your handbag, but they ensure your make-up stays looking 'on point' throughout the day and have incredible cooling effects. We've all been there in summer, when it's so hot that your make-up feels like it's melting off your face. Well, a little spray of these mists adds a little helping hand in fixing your make-up into place, making them an essential in your beauty repertoire for these upcoming months.

Lancome Visionnaire Trio: Skincare Solution and Correction Creams

Since forever, my mum has sworn by Boots No7 skincare range. She follows a set skincare routine both morning and night, and sees incredible results as a consequence. She recently added a new step to this Boots-orientated routine; a trio of Lancome Visionnaire creams and serums. After receiving a free sample of the Lancome Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector, she became hooked and these three have become a staple in her skincare routine since. The trio includes the Advanced Skin Corrector, Advanced Multi-Correcting Cream and the Advanced Eye Contour Perfecting Corrector. (Could they make these names any longer?!)

Lancome Advanced Genefique: The Anti-Ageing Miracle?

You only have to sift through a few adverts to realise that the major selling point in the beauty industry at the moment is the idea of uncovering the secret to youthful looking skin. Before this review spirals into a debate on what the eff 'youthful skin' actually means and the problems of assuming that all 'youthful' people have flawless skin, I'm going to focus on the notion of 'radiance'.

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser

You may have seen me tweeting my love for this product a while back, and my views have not changed much since. The women in my family love Liz Earle skincare products; my Nan has flawless skin and she puts it down regular use of her vast collection of Liz Earle lotions and potions. From cleansers to toners and tinted moisturisers, she's tried it all, yet one her all-time favourites remains the Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth cleanser.

No7 Essential Moisture

Before now, I'd never really been a big fan of Boots No7 products, particularly their skin products, thinking that they were quite basic for the money you pay. Instead, I'd often turned to cheaper alternatives which would do exactly the same job.

My mum, however, swears by them, and even if she tries different moisturisers she always ends up returning to the No7 range. Seeing as she has enviously clear, wrinkle-free skin, I thought maybe I'd give No7 a go.

Pure and Natural

Being in the sun for a week and then coming back to England to find some miraculously nice weather has not done the best of favours for my skin. Any change in weather, be it glorious sunshine or the cold winter months, dries my skin out, particularly my legs, hands and face. Not really having invested in a top class hand cream or body lotion before, I turned to a gift set of Nivea lotions I was given last Christmas, and have been using Nivea Pure and Natural body lotion and hand cream for almost the past two weeks.
