Katherine Daniels Cosmetics: Skincare Has Never Been So Simple

I know I harp on a lot about my dry skin flare-ups on here, but it is one of my biggest beauty woes and I feel as though I'm forever on a quest to find 'holy grail' skincare products for it! I first came across Katherine Daniels Cosmetics at the Professional Beauty Show in London (to which I went with the incredible Gweni from gbeauty.co.uk) and, whilst they offer salon treatments, it was their range of skincare products which intrigued me. The British skincare experts have used their knowledge from these treatments to create products which have specific skincare woes in mind; their step-by-step product guides for each skin concern breaks everything down into easy, digestible chunks to really help you look after your skin well at home. Now there's no excuse not to look after your skin properly!

Skincare That Makes A Difference: Naobay's Natural & Organic Products

Greetings again, everybody. Apologies for my brief blogging absence; dissertations and exams are so inconvenient, eh? Today I'm back with a good ol' skincare review for you all. Naobay is a brand that I have been familiar with for a while (having tried their toner in the past) and one that I wanted to introduce to you. An acronym for 'Natural and Organic, Beauty and You', this brand focuses on ingredients which are in no way harmful to you or the environment. Strong ethical commitments within the beauty industry regarding organic ingredients, animal testing and environment protection are an incredible and increasingly recognised stand, but the products still have to live up to a great quality too. Having been trying their calming toner, milk cleanser and oxygenating moisturising cream for the past month or so, I can confirm that these products are not only great for those who look out for 'certified' products, but are well worth trying out if you're a beauty lover in general.

Going Blonde? You Need These Pro:Voke 'Touch Of Silver' Treatments!

After having really dark hair for ages (I always thought life would be more fun as a brunette), then trying to fade and grow that colour out for over 6 months, I finally took the plunge and bleached my hair for the first time. Because I wanted to try and get back to my natural dark blonde colour, I entrusted Betty Lou salon in creating a gorgeous ombre/balayage effect on my hair, leaving the ends far lighter than the rest. While it isn't *that* light, I found that my hair took on quite a yellow-y blonde hue. Disappointed, I turned to Twitter to see what would be the best home remedy to my brassy woes. Silver shampoo was the unanimous response.
