Everyone loves a dupe! Collection is a great brand for finding inexpensive versions of cult products, without the price tag reflecting the quality. I have been a religious user of their Fast Stroke liner since I started wearing liquid eyeliner- it's one of the only products I've ever totally sworn by. When I was browsing the aisles of Superdrug the other day, I saw this felt tip style eyeliner, and given my love for their other liquid counterpart, thought I'd give it a whirl. It was love at first use, and rivals my beloved Soap and Glory Supercat eyeliner!
The felt tip nib aids precision, allowing the pen to reach right into the inner corners of your eye, while the angle this design creates makes it the perfect choice for lovers of winged eyeliner and cat flicks. While some pen liners have poorly distributed ink (being more concentrated on the nib or down the edges), this Extreme liner provides strong colour however you choose to use it. This allows you to really control the thickness and style of your liner; one of the main benefits of these pen designs!
While other liners seem to be watery or dry out fast, especially the cheaper ones, this £2.99 wonder is the complete opposite. The jet black formula is as strong as its pricier counterparts- I think I may prefer the finish this one gives to the £10 Soap and Glory version! I have been using this everyday for about a week now, and honestly cannot fault it at all. It barely smudges and lasts all day without fading or crumbling.
This is a great product to pick up and try out, and proves that you don't need to spend a lot to get a high quality result. It is also available in purple, blue, and teal if you fancied experimenting with a bolder, brighter look over summer!
