Beauty Must-Haves For Your Summer Holidays
So, as of today, I can say 'I AM GOING ON HOLIDAY THIS WEEK!'. Late Saturday night we'll be traipsing to the airport to catch a flight to Crete for a week of sun, beaches and all inclusive food/ drink. Honestly, what more could a girl want? When we booked the holiday in March, it seemed ages away, but (as it always does) time has seriously crept up on us and this weekend I realised I needed to start thinking about what I was going to pack (and also whether my summery clothes still fit me, cue bank holiday shopping trip!). When it comes to beauty, I am usually fully stocked up and always buy bits and bobs whenever they are on offer, so luckily I have most things I need already. I thought many of you will have summer holidays approaching, so thought I'd share some of the beauty items which are going to be must-haves in my suitcase.

A Budget-Yet-Beautiful Holiday At The Malpas Hotel In Northern Cyprus
Holidays can be expensive. I for one am incredibly fussy when it comes to hotels, others are picky about location. Not only does finding the perfect holiday become an endless chore of scouring dozens of holiday websites to compare deals and conduct research, but as you narrow down what you want from your break, the price can often start to hike up and fall out of your budget. Eventually, we found our perfect budget holiday with Cyprus Paradise through a site called Travel Zoo (a great place to find some amazing deals...you just have to do a lot of sifting!). As the name suggests, we ended up spending one beautiful half-board week in the relaxing Malpas Hotel, situated in Kyrenia, North Cyprus...and all for £350 each!

4 Amazing 'On The Go' Beauty Products (Fab For Festivals And Holidays)
Whilst festivals are not quite here yet and summer seems to be trying to arrive before swiftly changing its mind, I'm sure many of you have turned your thoughts to any upcoming holidays you might have booked. My anticipated trip to Cyprus isn't until the end of June, time is flying by so quickly that I'm sure it'll be no time until I'm packing that suitcase and donning the sunnies. I've already bought my bikinis and started on the rest of my holiday shop, but one thing which is easy to overlook is the beauty side of holiday-planning. Suitable for festivals and holidays alike, these four beauty products are as convenient as they get, and are sure to be packed alongside my passport come June.

Jersey: The Perfect Place For A Relaxing Weekend Break
With Valentine's Day around the corner and Mother's Day not too far off that, lots of you will be looking for cheap weekend breaks to go away on with your loved ones. When it comes to holidays, many of us look abroad for our yearly dose of beaches and sunshine, but we often forget about the gems we have closer to home. In December, I went to Jersey (a UK Channel Island) with my mum; it was the perfect early Christmas present! This post is largely photos, but also a reminder that you don't have to jet off to a paradise island when we already are one! We stayed at the Grand Jersey hotel, situated a 5/10 minute walk from the bustling hub of St Helier town and right opposite a gorgeous beach with a view of Elizabeth Castle. It's a fabulous location for anyone looking for a short break (I think there are quite a few lovely hotels around this small area); there's a spa, town, beach, historical activities and a littering of delicious restaurants to choose from. What more would you want?!

SmartSun Wristbands: The Handy UV Detectors Which Are Essential For Staying Safe This Summer
It all may seem fun; being drenched in the summer sun whilst you holiday, participate in outdoor sports or go about general activities underneath those rays. But alongside the potential for tan, glorious warmth and bright light, the sun also emits harmful UV rays which put you at risk of injuries, sunburn and, in the long term, certain skin cancers. Whacking on some sun cream might seem like enough, but do you really know when you should be re-applying and how often? Staying safe is key to enjoying your summer, and these SmartSun wristbands are a great way of minimising risk while you go about your holiday.
Travalo: A Practical Essential For Holidays And Festivals
Having just survived a 10 day holiday with only hand luggage to rely on (I know, life is so tough for me), I know how annoying those airport liquid restrictions are. Especially for a beauty addict, weeks worth of meticulous planning goes into what can be squeezed into the 20cm X 20cm plastic bag; what will make the cut, and what luxuries will have to be sacrificed. If only I discovered Travalo a little earlier; having ditched my perfume in order to fit in sun cream (priorities, eh), I really could have done with one of these little bottles to slip into the liquids bag.
A City Break: Copenhagen
A couple of weeks ago, I returned from the most wonderful holiday in the beautiful Danish capital, Copenhagen. I had first heard of plans for this break from my best friend, and just a few hours later, we had booked flights from Gatwick to Copenhagen! Travelling in a large group of 14, all of us friends from university, we searched for apartments in the city that would be large enough to accommodate us all (and the inevitable noise from so many students).
