The packaging has a luxurious feel to it, and remind me a little of the Estee Lauder Sensuous Rouge range with the way the brand logo cements the top and bottom parts together. Top marks on first impressions! I bought shade 832, which has beautiful rose-brown hues with a hint of shimmer. I was worried this shade would be quite dark, but thankfully it isn't.
When on, this shade is a lovely medium peachy colour which is ideal for daytime wear. It adds a pop of colour and shimmer whilst retaining it's neutral subtlety- the perfect balance for an everyday lipstick.
The L'Oreal Infallible lipsticks have a real silky smooth consistency. Much like the Estee Lauder lipsticks mentioned, they appear to add moisture to your lips like a balm, have the shimmer of a gloss, but all the best qualities of a lipstick. I love how nourishing they are- some more matte lipsticks can really dry your lips out and provide a nasty bleeding of colour, but these really ensure your lips stay kissable.
I honestly don't have a bad word to say about these lipsticks; they contain all the perfect qualities you'd like to see in any lip product, and really provide a nice hint of colour for those who tend to avoid bright reds and fluorescent pinks. I bought this for £1 on the Cosmetics Fairy website, although I'm not sure how much they usually retail for.
It's such good value for money for a product so wonderful- I'd expect this kind of quality from a more upmarket brand, let alone something you can pick up in Superdrug. Another fab product from L'Oreal!
