Cosmetics Fairy Haul

Cosmetics Fairy is a website I've heard a lot of, and looked at a lot, but I just somehow never made a purchase. I was mainly worried about the products being completely tacky, old, and unusable, especially as you cannot see them in person beforehand. However, I recently took the plunge and grabbed some goodies. The prices are so low; my purchases ranged from 50p to £1 for some very well-known brands!

In total, I got 12 products for £10.35. What's more, you get free delivery if you're order is over a tenner! I picked up some Maybelline eyeshadow duos, some nail varnishes by Rimmel, Essie and Bourjois, and some beautiful lipsticks from L'Oreal and Maybelline, amongst much more.

Mine and my dogs' favourite product, however, was this funky little thing I bought just to top the total up to £10 for the delivery. It's a chunky lip balm by Justice- a brand I'd admittedly never heard of before in my life. What I didn't realise when I ordered it was that it comes with this spangly LED decoration which changes colour. I'm not quite sure why this is necessary for a lip balm, but it's fun, quirky and provides endless entertainment when you're tickling your dog's nose with it!

My favourites out of this bunch so far are the lipsticks and Rimmel varnish in 'English Rose'. Some of the products were so cheap because of faults with the packaging, for example that Rimmel varnish bottle was a bit chipped. None of the products I received were of poor quality- it is visible when make-up looks a bit old and rank, a bit like the finds you often get in Poundland. I'm pleased to say these were all top notch!

They have loads of great (and quite pricey) well-known brands down to super cheap prices over on the site, without having compromised the quality or your safety. The delivery was far quicker than I expected it to be, so I was very pleasantly surprised when my goodies turned up early. I've snapped up some right bargains from www.cosmeticsfairy.co.uk, so check it out too if you fancy treating yourself to something new without splashing the cash!
