TINT LDN Celebrates Best Single Friends For Life Day: WIN A Teeth Whitening Set For You AND Your Bestie!

We are all familiar with 14th February- a day infamously dedicated to the celebration of love, romance and couples. But one day that you may not be aware of is National Singles Day- a Chinese phenomenon that will be celebrating its 8th year on 11th November. Teeth whitening maestros, TINT LDN, are fully embracing this championing of singledom by throwing their own BSFFL day (that's Best Single Friends For Life) on the 11th of this month. As such, I've got two of their teeth whitening sets to give away for you to try out along with your bestie to make the day even sweeter!

TINT LDN, a brand only launched in August of this year, are encouraging folk to take pride in their single status and make time for best friends (who are just as important as 'other halves'). They are now running an exclusive 'buy one get one free for your bestie' offer in Boots; this is the perfect opportunity to stock up, have a girly evening, show those pearly whites and smile together in singledom (OK, maybe that's a bit too far).

I've tried this product out and really like the instant effect it provides. While it took some getting used to (I painted the formula on very blotchily at first and had to have several attempts), it's a great quick fix. For the past few years I've been dithering as to whether to get my teeth whitened, so these TINT LDN sets provide the perfect chance to try out what it might look like in a 100% accessible way. I do think that the 'super white' shade was a little too bright for me, but seeing as this was the whitest of three shades that was to be expected. I would definitely recommend starting off with either the lowest or medium shades when first trying out, especially as you can layer up the brightness to get it to your ideal level.

All you have to do is brush and dry your teeth, paint the white formula onto your teeth (I found sweeping along teeth horizontally rather than painting each individual tooth surprisingly provided a more even result), leave it to dry and voila! You really need to allow a good minute for the tint to dry- this was fine with my top teeth but for my bottom ones I had to hold my lip away from my teeth for 60 seconds. I looked strange and resisting swallowing was annoying (not to mention having a dry mouth after) but it does dry fast, and once it's on, it's on.

TINT LDN say that the tint will last up to 12 hours (with no restrictions on what you can eat and how much red wine you can drink with your best mate), making these tints ideal for an event or a night out. Once you've ensured that it's 100% dry on your teeth, you shouldn't have any issues with it coming off, although as a test I did scratch at my tooth and the formula came away very easily; maybe it's worth keeping the tint in your handbag for top ups if necessary. As such, it is also very easy to remove. Just brush your teeth and/or use the remover pads provided within the set (both these and the tint have a lovely mint taste). It really is that simple. You should get between 10-15 uses out of a set so it's great value for money too (each set only costs £19.99, making this current BOGOF offer a steal!).

I do love how easy and temporary it is; it's just a case of getting used to applying the tint. I can see it being something that I will definitely be using for special events and the like. To be in with a chance of winning a set for you and your best friend to try, just enter via the widget below. I have two sets of two to give away. Only valid entries will count and this is an over 18s, UK-based competition only. Good luck!
