The 5 Products That I Just Can't Live Without

It used to be a regular question thrown about in Twitter chats amongst beauty bloggers; if you were stranded on a desert island, which beauty product would you take with you? For most (including myself), it would be extremely difficult to narrow it down to just one product. However, while I'm a sucker for buying into all the new make-up launches under the sun, I still have my set few products which I always end up returning to. It's these products, the ones that you find yourself re-purchasing over and over again, which are the ones you'll find that you just cannot live without. Here are the five products that I never want to see leaving my side...

SLEEK Blush By Three

This perfect trio of blush shades is my ultimate favourite for creating that subtle depth of colour on your cheeks. I bought this in 'Lace', a gorgeous combination of shimmery pink and matte corals, and blending them together just makes for a beautiful day-time look. They can be built up easily, the formula blends like a dream, and you need the tiniest amount to create a striking look (meaning you'll definitely get your money's worth). I use this every day without fail; I just feel like my face isn't 'complete' without a quick lick of this blush just to make my complexion a bit more 3D.

NIVEA Micellar Water

I've noticed a huge difference in my skin since I've started using micellar water. It's far more gentle on my sensitive skin and has helped keep dryness flare-ups at bay. This Nivea cleanser is so affordable but great quality- I truly believe this is a wonderful product and use this every morning and night, just to give my skin a quick, gently cleanse before using a more rigorous cream or balm cleanser. It's a fab little product to have in your repertoire, and one that I seem to be constantly buying...which says something!

BOURJOIS Healthy Mix

This is the first proper foundation I ever used, back in my early teenage years, and it's still a product I absolutely adore to this day. The coverage is spot on, the tone matches my skin to a tee, it doesn't feel heavy or sticky and leaves me with my ideal complexion; just the right amount of dewy. I can't really say much else about this product other than it is pretty much perfect. For under a tenner this Bourjois wonder really is a steal; I haven't found any better than this. My skin would look naff without it.

COLLECTION 2000 Fast Stroke Liquid Eyeliner

I have (relatively) recently blogged about this uh-may-zing eyeliner. Again, it was the first liquid eyeliner I used and I still turn to it everyday without fail. The jet black colour is totally unrivalled by any other eyeliner, and while the shape of the nib may take time and practice to get the hang of, it's a fab product for creating a variety of different eye make-up looks. There's no smudging or fading with this one, and for someone who wears cat flicks everyday, I don't know what I'd do without this liner.

RAPIDLASH Eyelash Enhancing Serum

Suffering with trichotillomania poses many daily set-backs, including the application of make-up. Having no brows or lashes means extra time every morning is dedicated to covering up the gaps. This RapidLash serum is a total game-changer, helping those hairs to grow through faster and stronger (you can read my full review here). I don't swear by many lotions and potions, but this is one I would 100% recommend to every single person I come across. It truly works and as someone who suffers from hair loss, this is probably the one product (out of all of these) that I definitely couldn't live without.

Which products could you not live without? I'd love to hear what would be on your list!

  2. .....is it bad that I never really use my Sleek blushes /because/ they're so pigmented?? Hah. SO MUCH BLENDING REQUIRED (but yeah, you really are getting your money's worth!). I've been using Bourjois' Healthy Mix serum foundation as of late, and I can't stand the dewiness, actually. I powder it down in fear of the foundation transferring! As for products I couldn't be without--Maybelline's Rocket mascara and Jouer's Matte Moisture tint!

    1. Ahh see I love the dewiness! I way prefer that to matte. As for the sleek blushes- there's definitely a knack but it's so worth persevering with them, I love them! Xx
