You might all be aware of just how much I adore Rimmel's TWO Apocalips ranges. The colour stays put for a great amount of time- even those pesky matte formulas- and I genuinely never thought they'd be able to better them so soon. Well, their little sister Provocalips has done just that.
A lip lacquer which claims to provide vibrant colour for 16 hours, as well as being "kiss proof, transfer proof and food proof", is a pretty big deal in my books. Many have claimed to do this before (and failed), so what's the difference with the Provocalips range?
Firstly, you don't get that horrible tight feeling which makes you look like your lips are cracking. Secondly, these literally DO NOT BUDGE. At all. Nada. In fact, you have to remove these with an oil based makeup remover they are so resilient.
The gloss on the other end only serves the purpose of adding a bit of shine to your pout, and not much else. I personally think that the double-ended style gloss and packaging makes the product seem a little tacky and cheapens it a tad.
From the 8 shades available, I picked up 'I'll Call You'- a gorgeous pink that's not too bright for everyday wear. This range is perfect for those who love experimenting with bold lip colours but hate the faff that comes with them. And at £6.99 each, they're totally affordable too!
Have you tried Rimmel's latest wonder-product?
OOH can't wait to try these sound great for a night out! xx
