No7 Intelligent Colour Foundation

There are only a few beauty products which I religiously re-purchase, and this No7 Intelligent Colour foundation is one of them. A beauty staple in my make-up bag, this is the perfect everyday wear foundation for those who do not seek a particularly heavy coverage. As some of you might know, I'm a massive fan of No7 products. No7 is a brand which pioneers the latest beauty science whilst still being incredibly accessible and affordable. This foundation is another reason why I just keep going back to Boots.

The packaging isn't as dazzling as maybe their latest skincare moisturisers and serums, but it's still sleek and simple. And to be honest, what more do you need?! When you first go to put this product on, you might be a bit taken aback by the fact that it's a brown/orange colour...especially if, like me, you're usually the lightest shade most foundations offer!

It's such an easy product to blend, and once it's neatly buffed into the skin the colour transforms from brown and adapts to your natural skin tone. Just like magic, huh? The excellent thing about this is that you don't risk your face being a different colour from your body because you picked up the wrong shade of foundation (we've all been there).

The Intelligent Colour foundation has a super light, creamy, almost mousse-y texture, and feels incredibly silky and light on your skin. It reminds me a lot of Benefit's The Big Easy, without the power finish. It's quite matte, so you don't necessarily have to use a powder over the top, and because it provides such a light coverage, I find it's best just to blend it in with my fingers.

No7 Intelligent Colour: A light coverage for everday wear

It really is a simple, quick fix foundation which naturally adapts to your skin tone, providing a light, seamless, matte and non-sticky finish. For those who don't like heavy make-up or have good skin but just want a pick-me-up, this is a dream product. For those who want a bit more coverage, perhaps not. Either way, it makes for an excellent base to then build upon.

It comes in 3 shades (light, medium and dark) and retails for £15.50.
