Before I properly start, I have a task for you during the course of this post...Spot how many dogs/ dog reflections you can see in the photos! Winner gets a prize (not really).
Whilst I loved the sunnies, I didn't necessarily want to spend £20 on hair spray, so looked around and found that lookfantastic.com was selling the Giles for Label M statement piece for £5. I did a bit of research on the site, as it was not one that I had used before, and saw negative reviews plastering the internet. People who had never received their items but had their money taken, deliveries being sent to random addresses, and products being broken. It didn't look totally promising, but these people had lost hundreds of pounds, not a fiver, so I took the risk.
I adore these tortoise shell sunglasses- this colour suits my hair and skin tone far better than a bold black frame. My everyday glasses, which you might have seen in this post, are also the same colour, so it was a safe bet. I love the pink detailing above the lens; it makes it really fun and feminine, and makes a whole lot of difference to what would otherwise be your bog-standard Primark sunglasses.
What I love most about these is the shape. I am a huge fan of the retro-inspired 50s/60s cat shaped frame, so these were an instant must. I have quite a small, round (*chubby*) face so huge glasses don't really suit me, but this cat shape is perfect for those with a similar face shape to me. They're bold, and fun without drowning out half of my face!
Thank you to Finlay for being today's model. He's a natural!
Do you like my new sunglasses?
