Pass The Parcel: #ShareTheBeauty with InPost

Back in late 2014, I was approached by InPost to do a special collaboration involving 9 other beauty bloggers. Each of us were sent £200 to spend on beauty products to send to the next blogger in the chain, like an amazing make-up themed game of pass the parcel. Judging by my love for fun projects and make-up, I wasn't exactly going to refuse. Each beauty parcel was to be shipped off to the lucky recipient using InPost, a simple yet efficient new postal service.

Zoella make up bag

InPost have a series of 'lockers' throughout the UK from which you pick up your expected delivery. I wasn't able to use the service, however, as the company were making a few tweaks at the time. With prices for posting a parcel starting at £4.50, it could prove to be a cheaper shipping alternative and can all be done without having to leave the comfort of your home. Simply log in online, create a sticker by filling in the recipients details and nearest locker address, attach the sticker to the parcel and wait for it to be picked up by the courier the next day. It really is as simple as that.

The only difficulties I experienced was when creating a label; I made a mistake with the locker address when sending my beauty box off to Beth from Beauty in Beta and couldn't seem to be able to cancel or edit the delivery, resulting in paying twice for the service. Apart from this (which was probably a mistake on my part), I would definitely give InPost a whirl in the future.

I received my beauty parcel from the lovely Sam at Strawberry Squeeze; a huge box packed full of beauty and make-up goodies. There are so many new things for me to try out, and I can't wait to put them all to good use! From hand creams, to hair lotions and lipsticks to nail varnishes, this box of goodies covers every beauty need. Perfect for a make-up addict then!

My personal favourites include the RealTechniques brushes and make-up sponge which I have been dying to get my hands on for ages now. Like these, the Maybelline Baby Skin primer has long been on my wishlist, as well as this Bourjois blusher; I'm so excited to put them to good use!

The adorable make-up bag from Zoella's new beauty range will come in very handy as I travel between Brighton and my home in High Wycombe, and came stuffed full with little beauty bits and bobs like lip balms and mascaras. I also want to note how cute these mini OPI nail varnish bottles are; they're such great shades for winter.

A big thank you to Sam for all the lovely things I received in the beauty parcel! If you want a peek at what all the other beauty bloggers received, follow the hashtag '#sharethebeauty' on Twitter.

Which of these goodies catches your eye? Would you use InPost?

    1. I've done a few swatches and from what I can tell the shadows are not very pigmented- I much prefer MUA or makeup revolution for budget eyeshadow palettes personally :) x
