Although I think fewer people in my generation do it (perhaps because the health risks were drilled into us from birth), a whopping 19% of adults in the UK still smoke. That's 1 in 5 people puffing on cigarettes despite their repercussions being common knowledge. Although this figure seems surprising, it's actually a step in the right direction; the number of adults who smoke in the UK has halved since 1974, perhaps encouraged by health campaigns and numerous smoking bans. Still, the highly addictive nicotine which can be found in cigarettes keeps people coming back to them, despite being aware of the damage they can do to your health. If you're thinking of giving up cigarettes as part of your New Year's resolution, perhaps the longer-term impact that smoking can have on your health and beauty is something to consider...
Thinking of Quitting The Cigarettes In 2017? Here's 6 Ways Smoking Can Ruin Your Looks

7 Ways To Treat Trichotillomania (And Make Your Life A Little Easier)
The tiniest amount of research online will enlighten you to the sad fact that, currently, there is no cure for trichotillomania. It may be disheartening to think that the cycle of pulling will seemingly never end, and, trust me, I've torn myself up over the idea of being stuck with this horrid disorder for life. However, hope is not all lost. Despite there being no magic wand you can wave and make those urges to pull instantly disappear, there are numerous ways to help control those feelings. Many people have wonderful success stories of going pull-free, so don't think that it's totally unachievable. So, if you're looking for potential ways to treat, stop and control trichotillomania, this post is for you.

A Tasty, Natural Way To Improve Your Health With Teagime
I don't have an issue with my weight. I'm comfortable and happy with the body I love, but we all have those days where we look at ourselves and want to change part of it. Being a student, my diet pretty much only consists of bread and pasta (which really bloats my stomach and makes me look 5 months pregnant). Juggling uni, a job and this blog often catches up with me, and, even when I attempt to improve my diet, the stresses of life leave me feeling lethargic and the effects become visible on my body and skin. We all remember a short while ago when weight-loss teas were the coolest new thing, but instead of shedding pounds in the short term through those awful, laxative teas, I wanted something which would benefit my health and well-being more generally. Let me introduce Teagime.
Help:Clear Skin...An Easy Boost To A Brighter Complexion?
Firstly, happy new year to you all! Apologies for my absence, I am currently drowning in exams an am too busy swotting up on law to write regular posts (BOOOOO!). We are three weeks into 2016, and by now, most of you will have made your new year's resolutions and are on your way to acing them. One of my 2016 promises to myself was to take better care of my skin. As you may have read before on this site, I can suffer from really bad dry skin flare-ups, caused by anything from stress to a change in the weather. As such, I have decided to be proactive rather than reactive to my skin problems, and am trying to take simple steps in order to get my skin looking glowing and healthy once again. I am only 21, so I don't really want to be having to use a gazillion thick creams on my 'young' skin, so employing tactics such as changing my diet, drinking more water and taking some time out here and there to manage my stress-levels is going to be my alternative. With exams in full swing, despite my efforts I have had outbreaks of dryness and spots (which I rarely get), so I'm bringing in a new friend to help give my skin that little boost it desperately needs at the moment....Help: Clear Skin.
