Eylure's NEW Enchanted False Eyelash Range
I'm pretty sure that Eylure have previously done a limited edition 'Enchanted' range, but, regardless, a new one has been launched (or at least new styles). Originally boasting 7 unique styles, I got hold of a new addition to the range, a style called 'Lily'. The romantically girly-named collection is a gorgeous variety of soft, feminine lashes, from half strips for the most subtle feline looks to natural-looking sets that would add just a touch of volume and length to your own lashes. (Eylure also do an Enchanted 'After Dark' range which offers more dramatic styles). For me, 'Lily' looked like a great addition to my false lash collection; they weren't too long but offered enough volume and texture to give me what I want in order to cover my hair loss. Whilst overall I do really like these lashes, they were surprisingly not up to Eylure's usual amazing standard.

False Eyelashes For Trichotillomania: Favourites, Application & Top Tips
Since I started openly writing about trichotillomania on here, one of the most frequent questions I get asked is how to apply false lashes to bald lids. So many of you fellow trich sufferers want to know how to cover up evidence of baldness around the eye area but struggle to get the perfect eyeliner technique or to get those pesky falsies to stay. Now, I'm not an expert by any means (I'm constantly picking up new ideas and advice from other beauty bloggers and hair loss sufferers) but, having had the disorder for 19 years, have had quite a long time to experiment with the best make-up tricks to cover up those gaps. My go-to disguise is a natural set of false eyelashes, but how do you get them to stay with no hairs underneath? Well, here are my top tips...
REVIEW: Kimberley Walsh False Eyelashes For Eylure
Having suffered from trichotillomania for nearly all of my life, I have had my fair share of encounters with false lashes. Since I started wearing make-up, I've flirted with many a different brand and tried out more styles than I would care to admit. Initially, they may be a faff to apply, but once you get the knack they can be the perfect cover-up for hair loss. The sense of joy when you find that perfect pair which makes you look like you actually have lashes is incredible. When Kimberley Walsh announced that she was releasing a new style with false lash giants Eylure, I was so excited to see what it would be like. After getting a preview glimpse on Instagram, I knew they would be amazing for trichotillomania.

The Best False Eyelash Glue For Hair Loss Sufferers
It goes without saying that I am a bit obsessed with false eyelashes. I have been wearing them for about 5 or 6 years (basically since I realised I could get away with them at school) and have been on a long and often fruitful journey to find the perfect pair ever since. With so many designs to choose from, life becomes a little easier for those who suffer from hair loss; instead of putting up with baldness, you can stick on a pair of natural-looking false eyelashes and, a lot of the time, people won't even be able to tell that they are not yours. However, it's all well finding a good, natural design to pass off as your own (you can read a few of my favourites in this post here), but if the glue isn't strong enough to hold them down onto bald eyelids, the moment of finding your perfect pair is ruined.

NEW! Fleur De Force For Eylure: The False Eyelashes I'm Pleasantly Suprised By
I'm always a bit sceptical when it comes to celebrity/vlogger/blogger beauty ranges. We have already seen a few examples of where any old product is created with disregard to its quality, but as soon as a famous name is attached to it, the product flies out of the shop window, leaving many fans and customers bitterly disappointed. First, it was celebrity perfume ranges. Now, the power of bloggers is infiltrating our beauty market (you can read my post about the saga here). When Fleur de Force launched her collection with false lash giants, Eylure, I rolled my eyes and thought 'not another vlogger range'. However, after picking up a pair to try out for myself, I have been forced to eat my words; her range is pleasantly surprising.

The Perfect Gift For False Lash Lovers? NEW 'Hollywood Glamour' Themed Sets By Eylure
It's no secret that I adore false lashes. They have helped to boost my confidence through my open battle with trichotillomania, but are far more than just a simple cover-up. The market for false lashes has expanded so much in the past few years, so much so that they are no longer just seen as a volumous, indulgent addition to your eye make-up on a night out. Designs are now suitable for everyday wear, and there are so many different styles that they have certainly become an accessory in themselves. If you don't know where to start, however, these new sets from Eylure may help you on your way. Themed around 'Hollywood Glamour', the box of three pairs of lashes really do provide something for everyone.

Natural Eyelashes With Eylure: An Easy Way To Cover Hair Loss
I've tried my fair amount of false eyelashes in my time. Having trichotillomania has meant that I've forever been on the lookout for a fabulous fake flutter to disguise my own lack of eyelashes. Eylure were the very first set of false eyelashes I tried, aged about 15. Back then, Eylure were pretty much the only brand to turn to. Since falsies have exploded into the beauty market, there are so many different brands and styles to choose from. I've fallen in love with Kiss, had a brief affair with Primark, and also discovered Tanya Burr and the Vintage Cosmetic Company. But, since their re-brand and launch of a huge range of varying styles, I've found myself crawling back to Eylure.

Top Tips: Applying False Lashes
Due to my disorder, I've been wearing false eyelashes daily since I started studying for my GCSEs. Trimming them, applying them and making them stay put has simply become part of my everyday make-up routine. Although it's second nature, the process doesn't always go swimmingly. They can be tricky buggers to keep in place, or even to put on in the first place! Over the years, I may have picked up a few tricks that could help your experience of putting those fiddly lashes on. It's easier than you think! Here are my 10 top tips:

Trichotillomania Top Tips: Eye Make-Up
As many of you know from previous posts, I suffer from trichotillomania; pulling from my eyelashes since I was 3, and eyebrows since I was about 14. As I reached Secondary School (unfortunately an all-girls school), I discovered make-up and how it can alter your appearance. It was a God-send. Being in an all-girls environment, I grew more self-conscious and aware of what I was doing in regards to TTM, my appearance, and most importantly what others thought of my appearance. Make-up became an escape, a way to mask not only my imperfections, but my disorder.
