The twist pot consists of a sponge pre-soaked with nail varnish remover. You simply dip your finger into the pot, twist and wiggle it around a bit, and the nail varnish comes straight off. It really is as simple as that; it takes off your nail varnish within a few seconds, and doesn't leave your nails stained at all (something I was worried about for a product so cheap).
The remover is quite harsh, but does not dry your nails, cuticles or fingers out any more than your regular nail varnish remover. I have also tested this little pot with glitter nail varnish too; while it does take a little longer, it still works a treat. In fact, it's probably the easiest and least time-consuming way of taking off glitter varnish I have found so far; there's no waiting around with tin-foil on your fingers (the classic trick), or getting cotton wool stuck on your nail!
I was worried that I'd love this product just because it's so cheap, but it is genuinely something worth picking up. It's quick, efficient, and quite simply, a great product. Plus, the all-in-one pot is incredibly handy if you're off on any travels; it can be used over again with no worries of it spilling. Primark have truly created a winner with this twist pot, and is definitely something from their beauty range that is worth getting (even if other products seem dubious).
Would you give this nail varnish remover pot a go? What else do you like from the Primark beauty range?
I have this! It's awesome, although I have used it hardcore and after a while some bits of the sponge come out of your finger. But it's not too bad. I think it is a sign I need a new one x
ReplyDeleteI've had that a bit but not to the point where it's a problem. I love it!
DeleteYES I love this stuff and it's so cheap I don't feel guilty when I need to repurchase! xxx
