Tuxedo Nails

Seeing as my nails are still in a horrible broken state at the moment, I haven't really been able to try out any new nail art. However, I wanted to make them look a bit chirpier so thought I'd try out this tuxedo look. I know this has probably been done to death after the Zooey Deschanel craze, but here it is anyway!

To start with I used Collection 2000's 'Lasting Colour' in 'Liquorice' on all nails except my ring fingers, which I painted white using another Collection 2000 polish- opting for shade 103 'French White'.

When a couple of coats of these were dry, I used my Andrea Fulerton 'dot and flick' nail art brush in black over the white statement nail- painting two triangles at the top for the bow tie, a few dots underneath and then a long 'v' shape across the tip of the nail to create the tuxedo.

To finish I put on a topcoat of Rimmel's Nail Rescue, and that's it! A fun nail-art look in about five minutes!
